You may have found that you have received an unexpected transfer from somebody who is using our service or that they have typed your email address to use as the sender's email address. The sender usually sends the same transfer to multiple users. This kind of activity is known as spam.
Because our service is simple to use, this has allowed spammers to take advantage of it's simplicity. We are aware there has been an increase in spam activity and we are working on a new strategy to tackle this problem.
It is important you do not download the files in the transfer and instead, contact us by submitting a ticket and letting us know the email address of the sender and we will be able to look into it.
Bear in mind, if you do not download the transfer, there is no harm done and the spammer wouldn't actually have any access to your email address.
Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or worries.
