Trouble sending off that hefty transfer? Or, is someone else totally, like, 100% sure that they're doing it right, but can't send you a Pro-sized transfer? Read on!
I can't send more than 2GB!
Well, the first thing you're gonna want to do is make sure you're logged in to your WeTransfer Pro account. You can do so via: https://wetransfer.com/sign-in.
If you want to make sure you're logged in, check to see if your avatar is appearing in the right corner where 'Sign in' (this could also say 'Got Pro?') is. You should see your Profile name alongside your avatar. If it's not there, you're not signed in!
If you want to allow anyone visiting your WeTransfer Pro Profile to be able to send you more than 2GB per transfer as well, all they need is a copy of your WeTransfer profile's web address which you can easily find in your Profile Settings under 'Profile URL' or in your URL bar when logged in to your account.
The second requirement to send transfers larger than 2GB is using a compatible browser, so check 'em out here.
I can't receive anything larger than 2GB!
So, you have signed up for WeTransfer Pro and you've verified your email address to allow for folks to send you transfers over 2GB when all of a sudden you encountered a problem.
People cannot send you over 2GB and get an error message onsite advising the max limit is 2GB.
This is a common mistake some people make where you might think that you just need to send 2GB+ files to a email address registered to a WeTransfer Pro account but in fact, what needs to be done is a little bit different.
To receive over 2GB from your senders, they will need to visit your WeTransfer Pro profile and send your files through the transfer window here on your profile.
This is the only way to send a specific person over 2GB once they have their email address verified.
