Take your collecting to a whole new level with Collect's desktop app, which is now available for download on all Mac-compatible computers. You can find the download for Collect's desktop app right here. A Windows version of the app is currently in development.
Setting up the app
Once you've downloaded the installation files for Collect and installed the app on your computer, click on the icon to open the app:
You'll need to have a Collect account in order to use the app. If you have one already, press the 'Sign in' button in the top-right corner of this screen, or 'Create account' if you'd like to set up a new Collect account.
Using the app
Once you've signed in, you can enjoy all the same features offered by Collect's other applications, but here are the most important things you'll need to know that work a little differently in the desktop app:
Creating new boards
To set up a new board, simply tap the '+ Create new board' button and enter a name for your board:
Editing your boards
To edit your board, first select it from the list of boards on the left side of the app. From there, using the buttons in the top-right corner of the board, you can:
- Add new files and links to the board by pressing the button
- Share your boards with others by pressing the button
- Edit your boards title or delete the board by tapping the button
Save files from Collect to your desktop
