You've probably reached this article after logging into your WeTransfer Account and noticing a prompt to verify your e-mail address. This feature has been implemented as part of our continued efforts to combat misuse on our platform. It also means that nobody can impersonate you and send a transfer via your email address. Safety first!
After signing up, you will receive the verification e-mail as seen below:
Just hit the verify email button (or the link below it if you cannot see the button in older e-mail apps).
This link will be active for 2 days. If you don’t make it in time, don’t sweat it, just request a new one. You can do this from within the e-mail or by visiting your account settings.
You will also need to re-verify your e-mail when you change the login e-mail address for your account, you can do so in your account settings. Follow the verification flow by clicking the link in the e-mail you will receive and you will be ready to continue using your account with the new e-mail.
