We want to provide you with fast and on-point assistance, but that requires some technical information about your device. Instead of having an endless back-and-forth with our Support team, you can now provide them upfront with this valuable information.
In Collect (version 4.3.0 ->) for iOS you can find a 'Report an issue' button in your Account tab. To use this feature, you do need to have the Apple Mail app set up with a working email address. Otherwise, you can tap that button till the cows come home.
This button makes it easy for you to tell us that something is going wrong as it drafts an automatic email. In the attachment of this email, there is a diagnostics report for your device and app.
Please make sure to elaborate on the issue in the email and not sending it just straight off. It's going to be very difficult for us to identify the issue without the context.
The Diagnostics Report holds metadata on the number of boards that you have, your settings, device and app information, and a log that can be analyzed for possible crashes. If you want to know what the report looks like and what information you're exactly giving us, you can have a look in the attachment before sending it to our Support team.
