Paper does not support beta releases of iOS 13 and iPadOS
Paper requires extensive testing when Apple overhauls their operating systems. Our engineering and QA teams are currently testing iOS 13 and iPad OS in order to assess what changes will need to be made in Paper.
The list of known issues with iOS 13 and iPadOS with Paper and other apps include synchronization issues and data loss.
Please review Apple's iOS & iPad OS 13 Beta 3 Release Notes for more information.
- If you've installed a beta of iOS 13 or iPad OS, please update to Paper 4.4.1. This should resolve issues that you may have experienced with Journal Sync and/or the import of images from your device's Photos app.
- If you've installed a beta of macOS Catalina on your laptop or desktop, and are experiencing missing with missing content, please review this Apple Release note. It includes:
"After updating to macOS Catalina 10.15 Beta 7 or later, iCloud Drive might synchronize for an extended period of time. If you notice any missing files, they can be found inside a Recovered Files folder in your home folder. (54046219)"
Should you continue to experience issues, please feel free to send us your log files. In Paper, tap on the Settings icon (the sliders) top right then "Support". On the next screen, tap on "Send Logs". An email window will pop up.
** If you don't see "Send Logs": You need to have at least one mail account set up to send your log files to Paper Support. Tap on your device's general Settings app and scroll to "Accounts & Passwords". On the next screen, you'll see the accounts you've created listed. Please add a mail to one of those accounts. **
Within the body of the text window that appears, please include as much information as to the issue that you're experiencing. Thank you for your patience.
