TL;DR: You can now save you Collect content across devices by creating a Collect account! If you're using the free version of Collect, this feature is only available for your shared boards, but Collect Pro enables you to sync EVERYTHING
Good news, everyone! Gone are the days of worrying what will happen to your boards if you lose your device or need to reinstall our Collect app, thanks to Collect accounts.
With a Collect account, you can now easily synchronise all of your important boards across multiple devices, just in time for that new upgrade you've been planning. Once you've created your account, all the shared boards on your device are saved to the account and will no longer be visible in the app when signed out.
With a free account, only your shared boards are synchronised to your account, but if you're looking to synchronise everything in the app, we've got you covered with Collect Pro (more on that here).
Creating a free account for Collect is super simple, but can currently only be done via a mobile version of the app. All you need to do is open the app, and click the account button in the bottom-right corner of the screen. From there, select 'Set up your account' and enter your email address and a preferred password:
Please keep in mind that once you create an account, all the shared boards you created on that device are automatically linked to your new account. No take-backsies!
Once you've finished setting up the account, you can log into Collect on any device from the Account tab. All you need to do is select 'Set up your account' and click 'Already have an account? Sign in' on the Sign up screen:
