We’ve recently added the ability to upload folders directly from your device, making it that much easier to get your precious files transferred out to the world exactly how you want them to be sent, huzzah!
To upload a folder, all you need to do is drag and drop the folder from your device onto the transfer page:
The great thing about uploading folders like this is that we’ll keep the file structure inside your folder exactly how you upload it.
Once you’ve uploaded the files and hit send, we’ll send a link out to your recipient to download your folder and everything it contains. In order to keep your files and structure intact, your recipient will receive the transfer as a .zip file, but this won’t change the layout or quality of your files in any way. Having trouble opening a .zip file? Check out this article
This feature is available on most up-to-date web browsers, but won’t work with Internet Explorer (typically, we’d recommend using Google Chrome or Firefox).
If you’re using Google Chrome and this feature isn’t working, don’t panic! This is something we’re looking into (more info on that here).
Using the Mac app and want to upload folders? We've got you covered. Check out this article for a handy guide.
