A WeTransfer Pro account has the option of adding another layer of protection to transfers by adding a password. To add a password to your upload, please make sure you’re logged in.
To ensure the highest level of protection possible, the password you add isn’t stored or tracked by us in any way. This means it’s your own responsibility to remember and share the password with your recipient or recipients, and we will not be able to help with password retrieval if it slips your mind.
You can then select the password option at the bottom of the Transfer upload window, which allows you to add the password of your choice. We don't have any restrictions on passwords, you can enter anything you like in the field. Passwords are case-sensitive, though.
