Sometimes we try to send emails to your account, but they can't get in. This could be because you've been added to our bounce list, but before that happens we'll try our best to get it into the inbox.
You could compare us to the postman who has a package for you that needs to be handed over in person. If you’re not home, we’ll come back again in a couple of hours to try again. And again. And again. And again…
At this point 2 things can happen:
1) Suddenly, you’re home! Maybe your doorbell was broken (security settings changed, like a firewall or antivirus program) and you heard us knocking. Or maybe you weren’t able to reach the door but cleaned up a bit (inbox was full). Either way – you get your email and we both go on our merry way.
Or in a worse case scenario;
2) Your neighbors decide to call the cops on us (spam filter) and get us a restraining order which prohibits us from getting within 500ft of your house ever again! In other words; you’ll be put on our bounce list and we are no longer legally allowed to deliver our messages. If you reach out to us afterward, we’ll remove you from this list and try again – but only per your request.
